Trust & compliance
A marketplace built on verifiable trust
Civentia connects industrial service providers and buyers under clear rules: seller verification status is visible to buyers, every payment through the platform is processed by a licensed institution, and every transaction follows published policies.
Payments by licensed institutions
Payments through the platform are processed by Airwallex (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. — a Major Payment Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. During the pilot, buyers pay sellers directly for orders, and Airwallex collects only subscription fees owed to Civentia. Civentia never takes possession of order funds, and no customer money ever sits in a Civentia account.
Seller verification you can check
Civentia seller verification is a trust signal, not a payment or delivery guarantee; buyers can see the seller's verification status. When order payments through the platform open, each seller must also complete Airwallex KYB verification before it can receive a payout, and settlement goes only to an account in the seller's own name — never to third parties.
Clear marketplace rules
The Terms of Service, the Prohibited and Restricted Listings Policy and the IP Protection and Notice-and-Takedown Policy define what can be traded, what evidence regulated categories require, and how violations are enforced — up to account termination and reports to the authorities.
Delivery-first settlement
During the pilot, buyers pay sellers directly on the order's agreed terms, and every order's delivery, acceptance window and disputes are recorded on the platform. Once order payments through the platform open, buyer funds are held by Airwallex until the buyer confirms acceptance, or the acceptance window — fourteen days by default — expires without a dispute.
Structured dispute handling
Disputes are raised and evidenced inside the platform and negotiated on the record for at least fifteen business days. Approved refunds are funded by the seller — paid to the buyer directly during the pilot, or returned via the original payment method for orders paid through the platform.
Trade compliance rules
Sanctioned parties and comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions are prohibited by the Terms. Civentia may review seller-submitted information and restrict listings or accounts. When Platform Payment is enabled, Airwallex screens those payments against applicable sanctions lists under its own compliance rules.
